IQRA is a product of Nuerizo. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data with transparency and care. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we use it.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: name, email address, password (hashed — never stored in plain text)
Location data: GPS coordinates or city/country for prayer time calculation (see section 3)
Usage data: classes viewed, lessons watched, enrolments — used to improve your experience
Session tokens: stored in your browser's localStorage for authentication

3. Location Permission

IQRA requests your device location solely to calculate accurate prayer times for your area. This data is processed locally in your browser, cached for the current day only in localStorage, never sent to our servers permanently, and never shared with third parties. You may deny location permission and enter your city manually at any time.

4. How We Use Your Data

To authenticate your account and maintain your session
To display your enrolled classes and subscription status
To personalise your learning experience
To send important platform notifications (opt-in only)

5. Data Storage

Your data is stored on secure Hostinger servers located in the EU. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted to authorised platform administrators only.

6. Third-Party Services

Aladhan API (prayer times) — no personal data sent
Quran.com API (surah list and verse data) — no personal data sent
mp3quran.net (audio streaming CDN) — no personal data sent
Google Fonts, FontAwesome (UI fonts and icons) — standard CDN requests
Zoom / Google Meet / Jitsi — live class links are provided by scholars; IQRA does not control these platforms

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Contact us at support@nuerizo.cloud and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Children

IQRA is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us data without consent, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above will reflect any changes. Continued use of IQRA after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
