IQRA is a product of Nuerizo. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have a positive experience on our platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your information.

By using the IQRA app (web, mobile, or any other platform), you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

• Account information — name, email address, and a securely hashed password when you register for an account.
• Location data — GPS coordinates or city/country, used only for calculating prayer times. This data is never stored permanently on our servers and is processed locally in your browser.
• Usage data — classes viewed, lessons watched, and progress data to improve your learning experience.
• Device information — browser type and version, operating system, for diagnostic and analytics purposes.

3 Location Permission

IQRA requests your device location permission solely to calculate accurate prayer times for your area.

You may deny location permission at any time and manually enter your city or country to calculate prayer times instead.

4 How We Use Your Data

• To authenticate your account and maintain your session securely
• To display your enrolled classes, progress, and subscription status
• To personalize your learning experience and recommendations
• To send important platform notifications (only if you opt in)
• To improve app performance and fix issues through anonymized analytics

5 Data Storage

Your account data is stored on secure Hostinger servers with industry-standard encryption. We use HTTPS/TLS for all data in transit. Passwords are stored as salted hashes and are never stored or transmitted in plaintext.

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

6 Third-Party Services

IQRA uses the following third-party services. None of these receive your personal account information:

• Aladhan API (prayer times calculation) — no personal data sent
• Quran.com API (surah list and metadata) — no personal data sent
• mp3quran.net (Quran audio streaming) — no personal data sent
• Google Fonts — font delivery; Google may log anonymous requests per their own privacy policy
• FontAwesome CDN — icon delivery; anonymous CDN requests only

7 Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access your personal data at any time via your account settings
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information in your profile
• Request deletion of your account and all associated personal data
• Opt out of non-essential communications at any time
• Export your data in a portable format upon request

8 Children's Privacy

IQRA is designed to be suitable for all ages and is a family-friendly Islamic education platform. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information without consent, please contact us immediately at support@nuerizo.cloud and we will take prompt action to remove that information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify registered users via email or in-app notification where required.
